Privacy
This website collects nothing. The software runs on your server and sends us nothing.
On this website
Nothing is collected. These pages are static files: some HTML, one stylesheet, one font and some pictures, all served from this domain by GitHub Pages. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no embedded video, no fonts or scripts loaded from anywhere else, and no forms.
GitHub, who host these pages, keep server logs that include visitors' IP addresses, in the ordinary way any web server does. Lightmorphic cannot see those logs and does not receive any of it. Their privacy statement explains what they keep.
In the software
Where runs on your own server. Lightmorphic operates no service for it, receives no data from it, and has no way to reach it. There is nothing to sign up for and no key to paste in.
What the software stores, entirely on your own machine:
- The places you named, such as “Tray 14”.
- The items you added: name, description, note, which place, and whether you have marked it gone.
- The photographs you took, saved as ordinary JPEG files in a folder you chose.
- An account for each person who signs in: the name they chose and a scrambled form of their password, which cannot be turned back into the password itself. No email address is asked for.
Where does not record who added what, when anyone signed in, or what anyone searched for. Everyone signed in sees the same list.
All of that sits in one folder on your server, as a single SQLite database, a folder of pictures and the key that keeps people signed in. You can read it, copy it, back it up or delete it without the software running.
Photographs and the vision model
When you add a photograph, the software sends it to Ollama to have a description written. Ollama runs on your own hardware, either as the second container started alongside the app or on another machine on your own network, at an address you set. No photograph is sent to any cloud service, and no third-party artificial intelligence provider is involved at any point.
What leaves your server
In normal running, nothing. The app makes no outbound calls except to the Ollama address you configured. The one exception is the first start, when Ollama downloads the model you asked for from the Ollama library. That is a download of a public file and carries none of your data.
Your rights
Because Lightmorphic holds no personal data about users of the software, there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct or delete. If you contact us by email we will hold that message in order to reply to it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to privacy@lightmorphic.com. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
