Beta

Where is early software. Expect rough edges, and keep a copy of your data folder.

Cookies

No cookies here, and none in the software.

On this website

None. Not one, first-party or otherwise. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to. The pages are static files with a stylesheet, a font and some pictures, all served from this domain, and nothing is loaded from anywhere else.

In the software

One, and it belongs to you. Where asks you to sign in, so it sets a single cookie that remembers you are signed in and nothing else. It is set by your own server, goes nowhere near anybody else's, carries no identifier that could follow you around, and lasts ninety days or until you sign out.

It is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, which is what the law calls the kind that needs no consent banner. Refusing it is the same as choosing not to sign in.

The software also uses your browser's local storage for one thing: whether you chose light or dark. That is a single value kept by your own browser on your own device. It is never sent to the server, never sent anywhere else, and clearing your browser data removes it. If you never touch the switch, nothing is stored.

If that changes

Should a future version need any other cookie, this page will say so before that version is released, and the software will ask you first where the law requires it.
